Halo Cycle Track
This brand new, start of art cycling facility is a unique partnership between Sport England, British Cycling, Stronger Hereford, Herefordshire Council, Hereford City Council and Halo Leisure. This 1km cycle track offers cyclists of all ages the chance to learn to ride and train at every level.
Location – Hereford Leisure Centre, Herefordshire HR4 9UD
Aims
As part of the funding, It’s crucial that the track’s investors learn how popular the facility is in order to assess the return on investment and justify continued support.
With this been part of the funding pre-requisite Halo Leisure engaged with R-Com Technical to utilise their systems and solutions to automatically count and report the total number of laps completed.

Benefits
The R-com Technical system provides automated, accurate cycle data to measure and track usage, with a single unit installed on a lamp post, drawing power directly and automatically counting all cycle laps. This unit has the capacity to store over eight months of count data, which can be retrieved directly from the installed system.
